I have a 2010 Ranger sport 4.0. I would like to know how much oil and what brand do you guys like use. I also have been told that I need to add some kind of additive. I have been thinking of running amsoil or maybe royal purple.

Thanks!!!!!!

Cheep 90weight and the friction modifer if you have the limited slip 8.8

I recall limited slip diffs were initially not offered on any of the '10 models due to them having traction control, so no additive should be needed.

Rear diff I believe takes 75W-140 synthetic. For the front, 75W-90 (synthetic or dino oil) should be fine.

I have a 1997 and I have the same question for my rear diff.
