What mods should I start with?

The intake noise on the 3.0 does sound good, sounds better than the exhaust note IMO.

Airmaster, what exhaust do you have and where did you buy it from?

Magnaflow 15679, and i bought it from Autoanything during a sale, got it for $370, install was fairly easy. Probably too expensive but the ease of install definitely sweetened the deal. I didnt wanna bother with an exhaust shop, too many crooks in my area.

I'm looking at the Dynomax system cause it is cheap and from what I have heard it sounds pretty nice.

I've seen some jba shorty headers, I just made my 3.0 loud by cutting the exhaust behind the rear 02sensor and getting a 90 degree bent 2.5" ID pipe and clamping it on. Also bought a cheap intake on ebay, I like the shiny chrome finish and a big cone filter. And like most others said, no real power gain. If anything I lost mpg, I get about 15 pretty consistently. New throttle body would help. If you find a reasonably priced 60mm get one, and let me know about it!!

Get your own exhaust made! Only cost me 160$ to buy the muffler get the pipe bent and welded at my local Monroe muffler.

I pretty much do have a custom exhaust. The previous owner chopped it after the cats (flange and all) and welded on a pipe with a flowmaster.
