what locker do i get?

i have a 94 2wd 4.0 ranger and im looking at getting a locker does anyone have input on wat to get? or wat is best for my ranger, i do a little offroading nothing too serious but i want to get better traction

first we need to know what axle you have. if you have a 7.5" you can get a lock rite. if you have an 8.8 i believe you have a few more options. check the tech library under gears and lockers. http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/index.php

Well if he has a 4.0L, it's got the 8.8 rear end. If most of the driving in on road, I'd go for the "N0-Slip" by Richmond Gear, still gives you traction and much more road friendly. No need for gear set-up, easy to do in two hours in your driveway with common tools. Used in my Winter truck for over 30K miles so far.

so about how much would that run me? would it be easy to install?

They run $400-480 on E-Bay. Two hours to install with common hand tools, couple of jack stands.
