what kind of upgrades can i do to get more power

Lower gears, XCal 2 programmer, cam, headers and exhaust, swap out to pistons from a 94 or earlier 4.0 for 10.1 compression. Our you could swap in a small block. I have the tuner, some exhaust and intake mods and mine runs pretty good. Someday I'll change out the pistons for more compression and a cam swap.

Install lower (numerically higher) differential gears. Ex...If you have 3.73 gears, upgrade to 4.10s.

My '92 4.0 really picked up a pile of torque with a Borla cat-back and headers. I did the headers first and noticed a small gain, then installed the cat-back and it loved it. The stuff's been on the truck over 10 years, never even had to touch it - excellent quality, no regrets. And it sounds sweet too.

If you haven't touched the exhaust chances are any improvements will pay off with some bonus torque.

Up the compression, do some head and intake work, put some headers on.

Lower gears wake a truck up pretty well, as the first gear ratio is lower and they move all your gears down into a more "competitive" range.

If I had a budget big enough to afford a corvette, I'd take my money to the nearest GT 500 and sign some papers!
