i saw these waiting for a train leaving work today. im not sure even what make they are, they had no badges i could see. they had michigan plates, thats the only way to id them. i only work about 2 mins form the diamler chrysler plant in toledo so they may have been a chrysler (dodge or jeep) but the one had distinct 'chevy impala' round tail lights

That second one looks to be Focus based. The first one kinda looks Neon based though.
Interesting.

Cool catch.

Ya know, I've always wondered something about the guys driving these preproduction cars with all the stuff tacked on to hide the details; how come they ain't wearing the Groucho Marx glasses, nose and moustache?

i wouldnt have posted those you can sell those to magazines for $$

yea the thought had crossed my mind but these are so crappy and small...im gonna keep my digital camera in my truck now though...

Nice catch, I never get to see anything like that in San Antonio. Hell, I didn't even see one of the new Tundra's untill they were out for almost a month (the plant is just on the other side of town).

The Sedan looks like a Sebring actually. The rims kind of give it away.

the Hatch Back looks kind of like a Compass or a Caliber.

Don't see why they'd be doing that with those cars as there were new models that came out just last year. But who knows, that would have been cool to see up close.

yeah it's kinda cool to see stuff like that. It kills me when i see them driving around and the emblems are taped up, around here it could only be a Honda. not to mention you see them drive in and out from the Honda plant. the funny thing is they even tape them up like that as soon as they leave the assembly line before release.
