It really seems like the bigger tires and "options" adds a lot of weight! I don't know what my 87 4x4 weighs but it has 235/75/15's on the "4 spoke" white Ford steel wheels and they seems to weigh a ton lol.
This is mine with D35, 8.8, 3" lift with extended arms, winch, 31" tires on stock aluminum wheels and me in it (200#) and full fuel tank--otherwise totally emptied, even the glove box, out so I could get the real weight. Of that, 113 of my # goes for the back and 87# for the front. So the real weight is about 2100 front and 1950# rear for a total of 4,050# curb weight.
Mine weighs in at about 11,000# in the summer and about 13,000# in the winter. That is with no extra weight added to the bed for traction in the winter.
