I'm a "member" of the NH electric co-op- not by choice. It shows $.16.9 per kw/hr but the Member service charge, delivery charge, regional access charge, and system benefit charges are added on. Last month 536 kw cost me $163, that divides out to $.30.4 per kw. A lot of power in New England is generated with natural gas so the administration trying to strangle the petroleum producers(to make gas expensive and make electric cars look better) had bitten us hard. I heat, cook, and make hot water with propane, the cleanest fuel available, and have a tight, well insulated house. After figuring in the $400+ credit from last year, my propane pre buy was just under $2700 this year. I hard wired a generator into my entrance box because Co-op power isn't the most reliable.
