What Do You Hate About Your Ranger???

the ttb is one of the worst front suspensions when lifted

Then you are doing it wrong.

the steering is the only part i cant stand. cant keep it going stright

Go get it aligned, ask for more caster. That will help straighten the wheel out and keep it there while moving in a straight line.

Not liking the way my t-case falls out of 4-Hi.

Also not loving the way that it has recently taken to choosing when it will and won't start up. Almost like someone who knows they are close to retirement, only going to work when they feel like it.

W/E, gonna fix all that here soon with new engine, harnesses, and a good rip through my t-case to tighten whatever has decided to come loose.

yea jump on that asap

i plan on it but more important things keep coming up and work is keepin me busy, by the way should the tank from a 84 2x4 bolt right up to my 83 4x4 they are the same style and size not sure about filler neck, sorry for the thread jack

it should... take your bed off sunday that way when you get off work during the week it wont take but 1-2 hours to change the tank depending on your skill level... back on subject i also hate my leaky rear window and 3rd brakelight.

oh and my lack of reverse lights damn trees took them out and i really dont know how the rest of the lenses are perfect and all the other light work great

no cup holders = kill me

seriously, this is a MAJOR flaw! especially with a 5 speed!

And I really dont mind the rear seats, as long as I'm not sitting in them. I think its pretty funny listening to passengers complain back there hahahaha

the effects of living in the rust-belt, tailgate rotting out at bottom, front core support gettng bad, back bumper getting rust-trough holes in it.

Right now the seemingly mandatory glitches after a 302 swap... and the prospect that after that I will probably have to rebuild the front suspension after I get the powertrain issues ironed out.

The 302 sure didn't help my previously whooped springs or radius arm bushings... I can't say as I am the hugest fan of the TTB but I have done enough wheel reinventing to last me for awhile.

All you people complaining about rear seats..

..I don't even HAVE rear seats in my supercab.

I used to hate how ford made the oil pan impossible to change easily. Someone fixed that for me though.

I never knew how bad the seats were in my Rangers until I got a Sport Trac.

I hate the fact that somebody, somewhere in time, made everybody think that a small truck can't do crap, and is just a car with a bed.
