hadn't planned on it, Fed Ex ground has the worst safety record out there.

the stories i could tell you about 98% of the package handlers from that place would be enough to make you sick. oh but if anyone does ship fedex ground do not put whatever you are shipping in a box formally used to contain food, it will be opened. i can almost guarantee that

What programming software do you use? What kind of machines you run?

I run two Roeders CNC's (actually doesn't take much to run them, as long as they don't error out they can run all weekend), and have a few months experience with our two HAAS VMC's so I can fill in if somebody is gone and we have a hot job. We also have a HAAS HMC and a Makino but I have no experience with either of those. Programming I use Pro/E for carbons, and Mastercam X3 for steel.

I use Feature Cam 2d and 3d. Really easy to learn and use. I had to teach myself on 3d to make the fixture for Honda headlights. You can also use it for CAD. My main machine is a Bridgeport TC3. Decent mid size machine. We dont do large production runs, all custom made machines. We bought a Fryer M15 this past year to help on the bigger projects.

Small business owner,sales/service/consult/install security, fire and telephone system for the last 20 yrs.Good job and always busy.Keep it small, keep it all

I worked construction installing commercial flooring for 3 years but switched to working for Terminix last week because work was dropping off. Seems to me like people will kill their bugs before they get new carpet, so I can hopefully keep working.

working concrete 25 years.:headbang:

i work long hours for little pay......... i work in the parts dept of a chevy, toyota and bmw dealer.

I presently work as an "Operations Engineer" at a mid-size midstream gas processing facility running boilers, turbines, compressors, dehydration units, fractionation trains and an inlet gas sweetening train. Once things pick up in the drilling field, I'll be running a carbon dioxide extraction and processing train on top of all that.

I was formerly an operator at a large 800 megawatt coal fired powerplant before switching to the natural gas industry. When I get bored with what I am doing at whatever time it may be, I also study Electrical Engineering at the local University as well.

In the past I have worked as a welder, machinist and a factory trained Harley - Davidson mechanic. Fun stuff.
