Man... i wanna come hang out with you.

I cant work on my vehicles much any longer but I do enjoy my shooting & hunting. I normally shoot 2 to 3 times a week so come on out & have some fun
BTW, I was out shooting again this morning

Toss in a bit of fly fishing...

I really just need to join the local gun range... I miss the shooting sports.

My beagle would love a chance to hunt. He has the nose and the voice... I just need to make it a priority to get him out.

Cut the grass and weed eater the perimeter. Also fit the platform for the bed rack, drilled the bolt holes,, and then painted with boat paint on top and sides. Have to do the bottom tomorrow.


That boat paint is some stinky stuff. Smells like tar and seeps into the wood like a stain.

Back out to the FIL's house today. The heat has been muted by the rain, so it's a bit better. Only thing about living in the country is that everything's close to an hour away...

My long gone beagle, Poppy, wouldn’t run rabbits. Those were “friends”…

She despised squirrels and Canada Geese. Ever seen a beagle swim a 4 surface acre pond, or climb a tree? She did both, often.

sorry but I`m not a fisherman. however there is some good trout fishing with a fly only area nearby. there is a good area for rabbit hunting here also.

A friend made a multi engine pulling tractor and he wanted to make a test run today so that happened on the second run uncle Rodney came to visit... conveniently it's the easiest engine to replace... and also conveniently they're just stock 5.3L's from Tahoe's...

After that I went to another friends house and we went floating in the river for a while which was nice...

Still working on the shop between rain. Front overhang is done other than paint and finishing. So now I just have to finish the rest of the frame. That is finishing the framing for the rear wall, couple braces, some tabs for attaching stuff, finishing the door frame, and probably building some upper shelves that will be attached to the framing. Then paint everything and wrap it with insulation and steel. See how much progress I can make today, I’d like to get everything but the shelves done today, I need more steel for that.

Soo much welding. So much extra work. Should have bought a bending die and square tube.

After work went to the store to get some stainless bolts for the speed control resistors for my mom's golf cart then met someone from marketplace to pick up some balljoints and tierod ends for a D50 TTB since that's what's going in the Explorer basically... hey, full set of Moog stuff for $50, hard to pass up...
