Obviously they fondled it a bit. I would say that maybe they ran their hand over it to check for any damage or holes, in case something pierced it, but your tank probably isn't big enough for that. Did they have to pull out a magnifying glass so that they could inspect it really close?

Not today but.... Acquired some kittens last week please ignore the super manly pink pillowcase..

I figure they're 6-8 months old? Saved em from living a hard life on the street (at best) or becoming fox food at worst.

The boy (left) is a wildman. Doesn't wanna let me sleep past the crack ass of dawn some days he starts waking me up by sitting on my head as early as 3am lol.. but the girlie is just the sweetest little bundle of one braincell that I've ever seen with my bare eyes.. and they love TF out of each other. It's been an exciting & tiring week lol.


Today though.... Decided to weigh myself. I was nosing in on 250lbs in the middle of winter, I'm down to 210 as of today NO cardio either. All I did was go from consuming many times the daily recommended amount of sugar to 20-30% under the recommended amount and simply started eating less. If you feel full.. you've eaten too much.

The diet change really only started in April or may.. so needless to say I'm definitely happy with the rate I'm losing weight.

Kittens? Those look like full grown cats.

I'm not a cat person, I have no idea how fast they grow or how old they are when one stops calling them kittens.

Did that myself a few years ago when the blood sugar became an issue. Definitely makes a difference.

I need to get back on the ball about that part. I've slacked off and been creeping back up over the last year or so.

I've only ever had one cat before saving these two.. got her from a coworker when she was about 8 months old or so and I remember her being just about the same size. The picture definitely makes them look bigger than they actually are.. their paws would probably just barely hide a quarter if they were to stand on one.. and they definitely weigh under 5lbs a piece. I'll see what the vet has to say soon.. gotta get them in for the usual vaccines & get them fixed ASAP before I end up with a whole damn litter of kittens running around lol.

Thank you though! I'm getting pretty close to what id consider being in the best shape of my life.. apart from ruining my lungs by smoking 23 trillion cigarettes & vaping etc etc.. ill be working on that next. I have just about one year remaining before the point where I'll have smoked for 20 years.. definitely gotta call it quits for good before then.

Gain 10 and lose 5 each year for 50 years. Assuming you started this process at 175 (not a horruble weight for your height), that would put you at 425. You don't look like 425..

The metal pieces got painted yesterday and are hanging to cure. I started sanding the plywood deck half today but ran out of time to finish the job.

Now that it's the end of season I finally changed the screen on the bathroom window... a couple weeks ago I went to Lowes and got the supplies to do most of the screens on the house. Annoyingly it seems like I got too big of spline, which I bought in a 300' bucket... but it works just takes more work than it should... That said my first attempt could have gone worse! It stayed square and tight and just had a little tiny extra on the last corner... not even any wrinkles! Since the cat of many names is the cause of most of the screen damage we got one of the more pet resistant versions that were there... I doubt I'm going to be replacing the screens on the two front windows just because of the cat, they're like 4x5 windows...

The big name mass produced houses around here don’t care about deterioration. They don’t care about anything except slapping up a big house as cheaply and fast as possible and charging a premium for it. I call them wet tissue paper houses. They have actually been responsible for some of the building codes because they were “drywalling” houses with 1/4” thick drywall on the walls (code calls for 1/2” minimum except an attached garage is 5/8” unless you’re going over like plaster or something).

Sounds like here a few years ago. We had no codes except for electrical and sewer. My current boss was an electrical inspector at the time. Said he saw builders do exterior walls 24" on center, hang drywall on the inside, and vinyl siding on the outside. Not even house wrap or insulation.
