The will give you a rating for hearing loss if you have a nexus and at least 1 failed test, but then they will just give you prescribed hearing aids then reduce your rating to zero. you can get close to 100% with secondaries to tinnitus.

There is no hearing loss or tinnitus. I just have problems processing what I'm hearing in certain situations, especially if there is loud music or video playing and lot of loud people making conversation. It's damn near impossible for me to concentrate and comprehend anything then. So, I don't go to bars.

I got most of the preventative maintenance I wanted to do done on the 2019. I ran into some problems with the belts. I was changing them early. So, not a catastrophic situation. Just not ideal.

The L-track got delivered a day late. So that won't be installed for this trip. I'll just have a web of cargo straps over everything just to secure the few items I wanted the L track for. The equipment is all packed. Clothes and food will get loaded tomorrow before we leave on our adventure. We both really need to get away from things. So, this going to be a well deserved break.

Cheaters is all they are lol. This track mainly does bracket racing so.. for the uninitiated.. bracket racing is essentially picking an ET you think you can run.. and the closest person to their time (without going under) all night is the winner. Break out of your time, loss.


Sleds are easily the most consistent rigs in bracket racing. Just smash that throttle onto the bar and hang on.. no need to worry about spinning off of the line.. no worries about getting squirrelly through the 60'.. truthfully not much skill besides being able to get the thing set up.. I suppose 2nd only in simplicity to the jr dragsters.. those kids get a pass though. They seem to all be between 6-12.. quickest one tonight ran 68mph at around 9 seconds.. not bad!


There's always plenty of actual fast crap though. Even though it's only Maine.. and what part of Maine the track is in.. you'll always be surprised with what shows up every week. Big daddy don garlits actually still holds the track record dating back to ike the 60s or 70s..

Next time I to I'll try and get a little video put together showcasing the big boy stuff. Lots of cars that'll lift the front wheels.. pickups.. some blown rail car there tonight that ran a 4.99..

Nothing that I had intended to do because the outside outlet decided to die. Lowe’s doesn’t sell 20 amp GFIs for outdoor use. Home Depot does, only in white and only singles though. Neither of those or Tractor Supply sells 1/2x20 bolts in 1” long. Actually only Lowe’s had some fine thread bolts. Ace Hardware did have those. Also had to stop at Paul’s for my electrical kit. So the outlet is fixed now but that’s all that got done…

Put a nice leather sew on steering wheel cover on the 24. Feels so much nocer and would look great if the bottom spoke of the wheel wasnt so funky
