Picked up my new drive shaft today.
Lol used the tractor trailer to pick it up. They looked confused at first....

Vacuumed it out and gave it an oil change. Considered doing the rear brakes but the weather forecast said rain coming so I'm still holding off on doing them.
Damn Berkshires, they be predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow... if you dont like the weather here wait a day it will change that much here.

I did the Home Depot trip today...
Some lumber... the wife wants a bird house/feeder post for Mothers Day. So I bought a wooden post and some misc stuff to make a couple bird houses.
Bags of quik-crete… gonna just pour a step and cement the bird house post in.
They also got a good shipment of veggie plants and I picked up all my tomato plants. I figured I would do that while their... the weekends at Home Depot have had an hour or so wait to even get in the store.
Now just watching the weather... it's going to be to cold to plant this weekend. They weren't predicting snow... but it will be cold enough at night for the next few days.

I installed 3 shock absorbers (4th was the wrong part). I took all the u-joints out of both drive shafts. And got my parts cleaner cleaned and refilled. And also installed assist springs on the rears. Tomorrow will be cleaning, de-burring, painting, and reinstalling the u-joints on the drive shafts. It will be my first attempt at a double cardan.

- It was like that when I found it.
Took it for a ride around the countryside. Just 20-25 minutes but got it fully warmed up and checked the tranny fluid. Then used the front hook with a come along to spin my LeMans (on dollies) around to face out of the garage.

finally washed it. Looks much better now.
Now I wait for the 4th shock from Rock Auto...they sent one from California (got it a week and a half ago) and one is comingfrom Ohio (next state to me). Both were ordered 2 weeks ago, the second one just shipped yesterday, a full week after they told me it would ship...annoying. hope to have it by tues

What are you feeding the birds to? The neighborhood cats? Seems like a lot of work for what they do naturally.
