What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

Drove it while I did changed the intake on my F-150 over the weekend.

Was last night but towed a 2001 Taurus on a car dolly down to my house so I could help a friend and change out the radiator. Truck pulled over 4000lbs without issue and I'm pretty proud of that.

a taurus & tow dolly is over 4000#?

According to Google a 2001 Taurus depending on configuration has a curb(dry) weight of 3,355 to 3,519 lbs. According to U-Haul's website their car dolly weighs in at 750 lbs. Vehicle had fluids and a trunk full of junk so that puts me at 4k plus on the tow.

Plus 800-1000 lbs of live sheep.

Towed my boat to get some welding done on stern drive, then washed it. Good Boy job well done

Drove it in a snowglobe.

The flakes were the size of a quarter or bigger, no wind... it was surreal. Although it is cringingly early I even flipped on the one station that already switched to Christmas music.

Think I finally got all the air out of the left front caliper, yesterday. At least the pedal doesn't feel like a lump of jell-o, anymore.

I let gravity do the work nowadays, crank the bleeder valve, put a tube on it into a clear jar, and wait for the fluid to show. As long as the bleeders on the top of the caliper (calipers not reversed side to side) it's worked every time.

Yeah unfortunately didn't have a tube that fit exactly over the bleeder screw (should have stopped what I was doing and gone to get one, had to hold it in place while GF pushed on brake pedal. For some reason it went a LOT easier with the back brakes, and I managed to get those with much less trouble.
