Still looking for a set of headers I want for the P heads.

Put the 2011 to work again. I'm waiting on the next order notification to be ready for pick up to do it again. The truck drops about 3.5" with this load.

If you stop and think about it, bricks are just really hard dirt...

Really hard dirt that has been put in a furnace...

Have you been creating bricks?

Poop Bricks....

Almost there...

I need to finish the base row and construct the pillars and the benches made of 4X4 pressure treated lumber. It's been three years in the making. Started the project. Dislocated my right arm doing something else. Got a little bit more done the next year. Deployed for most of the summer. Finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel this year.

All that for a fire pit? :icon_confused:

Looks nice though...

Sort of. It helps keep any drunks from hurting themselves on the otherwise sloped ground and it replaces and existing wooden retaining wall that was rotting away.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that is is also an attempt to slow down the flow of the spring that runs down the back of the yard. Both my yard in the lower portion below the retaining wall and the neighbor’s yard get very wet after we get a good bit of rain. Will it work? Only time will tell.

Flushed the coolant and replaced with fresh (see my "Why Can't I Buy Prestone At Walmart" thread).
Every 50,000 miles I do a bunch of stuff and we're approaching that.

The JohnnyO maintenance schedule:
Every 5000 miles change oil and filter, rotate tires.
1x year clean K&N air filter.
Every 30,000 miles change fuel filter, transfer case lube, rear axle lube. Until I hit 150k when both drained out clean so I said heck with it, I'll wait until 50k. Did the transfer case two weeks ago and it still drained out clean after almost 50k.
Every 50,000 miles change coolant, spark plugs, front axle lube (at Valvoline).
Every 100,000 miles change plug wires and serpentine belt.

Installed a wind fairing on the front set of roof bars. No more whistle or wind noise.

Seems like you have been fighting with the wind noise from fairings for a while now. I guess problem solved now.

From the racks themselves. Finding the right size was the problem. Happily, the first one I bought worked for the rear set when I’m just using them. I also found out that the fairing for the rear set cannot be on when the front is being used. The turbulence from the front fairing makes the rear one flutter.

Now I have to iron out the rear set on the 2011. Now that I know what to measure for, I won’t be using Rhino Rack’s recommendation for size.

Wind noise from fairings or fartings?
