What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

What no invite this time? LOL

I couldn't have today anyway. Just out of curiosity, where were ya'll planning to go?
Somewhere around Scooters loop. IDK cause I didn’t make it. I had a crazy morning and Robbie’s steering kinda broke kinda.

That's funny even though I don't know exactly what you mean...

That makes 2 of us. I frequently don’t see, hear, and understand things right in front of me.

Him and I were supposed to meet up today, but a series of unfortunate events by myself, my wife and I did not make it.😢😔😢😔
It was cut short due to my power steering problem

You got snubbed with no invite.
No. It was a last minute thing. He is always welcome. Glad he didn't drive 2 hours though to do literally 1 road then. Pulling out my steering acted up. We cut the trip. I think Scooter hit some more after I left. But I had to limp mine 2 hours home with my steering acting up. Needless to say. My butt was puckered and nervous it was gonna lock up completely. So I stayed on 40 mph back roads. What is normally 1 and half hours took 2 hours and 35 mins to get home.

On my way to meet Robbie (I was already late to the meet up by the way. Which is a different story.) I stopped for a quick pee break. It has gotten warmer outside, so my tire pressures rose to the point I had to air down to about 35 psi for comfortable highway driving. I set my work phone on the hood of my truck. I had been burning that phone up with a work related crisis. I drove off down the on ramp and said to my wife what just blew off the hood of the truck. At that moment I realized it was my work phone. Drove down to the next exit to turn around. After nearly 3 hours of searching with a tree cutting crew it was located. So I took the long way home disappointed that Robbie and I missed another meetup.

Believe it or not. This is the short version of the story. I didn’t mention the interaction with the THP officer which wasn’t pleasant. The crash function on the phone calling 911, etc, etc.

Warm weather yesterday and today so last night I gave the K&N its annual cleaning and gave it a good hand wash today. That winter dirt was on like Velcro. Wiped out the floor and got the dried salt out of it.

Oil change but:

This was my third oil change with Valvoline Restore & Protect.

I always check the level before draining and FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, with 5000 miles on the oil, it was still a medium gold. I could clearly see all the hash marks on the dipstick. I have never seen this before.

Even at only 5000 miles, the oil it still typically black. With R&P, it a medium gold.

Pretty impressive. I've been studying R&P for quite a while.

I"ve read some really good things about Valvoline Restore and Protect and have only started using it last oul change. Before, it was regular Valvoline synthetic. So, it's nice to see something real world outside of a youtube video, blog post, or magazine article.

Mine is currently at the shop exploring a sudden vibration after doing a time swap from the ATs to the MYs. What was the spare is now on the right rear and there was no problem last year. So, my guess is there is something up with that tire.

I'm struggling right now to get the rack and pinion out. I've got it all un hooked. Justcan'tt get the steering knuckle attachment point around the front diff. I've been fighting it for about 45 mins. It's kicking my butt haha. Guess I'm fixing to take the diff loose. I mean I need about a 1/4" to clear it. I've rotated and lifted both end up and down with no luck.
