What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

So what was it? I don't remember hearing about a tire recall since the Firestone thing. And I'm not sure those were recalled. Just misused.

Bubba brand snow tires. They just need them back for a few months to use on the snow plows. You can have them back after the last snowfall.

The state has deemed that the 2019 is safe to be operated another year on it's public roads and is within approved emissions limits.

Today I had to put 4 new tires on theView attachment 137738
today.

The tires that were on the truck were brand new. They maybe had 6000 miles on them. They had been on the truck less than 2 months. I got a letter in the mail on Thursday that said my tires had been recalled by the manufacturer.

I’ll post the recall letter later today

Here is the recall letter I got.

Still have to wire them to the switch panel.
The plan was to install them in the bumper, but the parking sensor wiring required more fab work that I did not want to do. But I think I’m happier with the lights higher.

Added another 2000 miles this week. :(

Pictures with new lights. Front and Rear.

The rear lights are multimode. They can be steady white or amber. Flashing white or amber and alternating white and amber flashing.
The ambers on the front are new and the rear lights are new.

On another note....

Not sure if you can see in the picture but my tire catches the edge of the rear Readylift crash bar (intrusion beam). They're suppose to clear 33" tires, but mine are 33.5". Looks like I need to take a grinder and file and trim some of the corner off.

You can hear them rub the tread when I turn sharp backing up.
Question? What is the offset of wheels when this was rubbing? I have 34’s with a zero offset.

On my setup I’m finding out that the front BDS intrusion beams don’t run but the Ready Lift do. And the rear Ready Lift intrusion beams don’t rub but the BDS beams do. Probably should have just gotten the Fabtech beams, but i didn’t want to cut off the nuts welded to the frame.
