What are the biggest tires I can put on my little 2.3 2wd?

There's actually two versions of the library now, one for normal regular (desktop, etc.) computers, the other for tiny little phone screens to be able to display it more efficiently. There's a link to get to the opposite library right on the front page of either however.

Sure you can if they have the right bolt pattern, backspacing and width. Then you have to determine what size tires to put on your 20" wheels. Check out the tech articles as mentioned above.

I have 255/60R15 on 8" rims on my '93 2.3 2wd. It is one of the best handling vehicles I have ever owned.

My ford came with 215 70r 14s on aluminum rims. I noticed many of you put 235 75 15s on this same vehicle.

How did you do this...... Did the 15 inch tire fit on your existing rims?, or
did you buy all new rims and tires

I would appreciate any help.

You do realize that only a 15" tire (235-75r15) can fit 15" rims right? You can't mount a 15" tire on a 14" rims. As long as you are using stock ranger rims then you shouldn't need any spacers. I bought a replacement rim from the local pick n pull for $18. they had full sets for $75-100. If you go with mustang wheels then you will NEED a spacer for sure. you can take a tape measure and measure the offset of your existing rims so you know what to compare when looking for rims. Always measure the BACK of the rim, not the front. For tire sizes, the first set of numbers (205, 215, 235) are the width of the tire, the second set of numbers (50, 65, 75) are the ratio height of the sidewall. So if you have a 235-75r15 then it is 235mm wide 75 percent of 235mm for the height then obviously the number after "r" is the rim size. A lot of people think the second number is the actual height of the sidewall but its not, its a ratio of the width. so a 225-50r17 isn't the same height as a 215-50r17. Just a little FYI for people who care.
