What’s for dinner tonite!

So, no pic, but I made my Haluski tonight for mom. Made a slight change to how I did it and it was a home run. Usually I kinda pan fry the kielbasa chunks first then slowly add butter as I add the rest. This time as soon as the kielbasa started sizzling, I turned it down, then I stirred it around and threw the minced garlic in, then put a whole stick of butter in, then the carrots, let that cook a minute then the onions and after stirring it again put the cabbage with another half stick of butter and the lid. Stirred it a few times and then added the noodles and the last half stick of butter. Btw, Kerrygold Irish Butter is the ticket here.

I haven't had good haluski in years. That's good, hearty polish home cooking right there. Yum.

Banana Split Pie...

It wasn't really dinner... but... I convinced everyone it was health food because of the fruit!

I did wings two ways... Buffalo and Korean BBQ... fried baked potatoes and corn on the cob.

Someone asked how the pie was made before... so I posted those photos.

TOO MANY HOTDOGS.

I made a turkey breast for dinner. It was the first time I’ve ever made a turkey. I think it came out pretty good.

The turkey sandwich tomorrow will be awesome.

This turkey sandwich has an entire turkey breast... and a pound of thick cut bacon.

I always refer to turkey and bacon sandwiches as turkey-bacon… it just sounds healthier to anyone listening.

That's a big sandwich!

Yeah... it's a giant.

That's Thanksgiving dinner at deer camp. Depending how many are there... sometimes I make two.

Sounds like it… the turkey breast I cooked was on the small size and it was 6 lbs.

Lol... I said it was giant. Even had both provolone and munster. Totally delicious.

I made some Swiss steak and saffron rice. Asparagus was picked this morning from a little farm across the street.

LOL - I saw this part and Dadump Dadump Dadump started playing in my head. It almost looks like it has a victim hanging out of its mouth. The ragged edges where you made the cut look like teeth :)
