I was just reading that mag today and saw the referral...didn't any of you catch the mistake though?? He stated that the 3.0 was the same motor as the 2.8, 2.9, and 4.o. I was thinking, if he only would have searched TRS for a few minutes, he wouldn't have made that mistake. And as for Peterson's... When Ali Mansour started building that ranger for UA, i sent them and e-mail referring them to TRS, then a couple months later i seen them mention it in the mag.

Jim had a series of articles in ORA *I think* a few years back.


A guy that used to be in our college 4x4 club with me and Todd built up the Ranger in this article, I think he may have posted pics on here once. His truck is the bottom left one.

Also, just for the hell of it, another guy in our 4x4 club built the Ranger used for the picture of the Rough Country 4" lift. It has since gone SAS and looks pretty badass, I have yet to see it in person though.
