I know there is a lot of love for 'Merican Muscle round here. I share that love, but during my service overseas I got hooked on rally cars. I draw a distinction between rally cars, and rice burner imports, but that maybe something I made up to justify my love of these things. Either way feel free to jab at me about my Japcrap. Lol. This is what I have been working on now that the Bronco is running right and reliable.

Special thanks:
Sean and all the crew at DSGperformance. The really do offer more than customer service. They ****ing rock out loud. This build is theirs as much as it is mine.

TopSpeed Motor Sports in ATL. These guys have bent over backwards and continue to do so to get this shit on the track. Stand up crew. Awesome guys. Highly recommended shop.

More updates as they come, including dynos, more pics, drag slips, lap times, and tons of videos.

Check out the valve cover that Dino set me up with! Badass.

Break in tune.

My buddy chasing me through a closed road up in the park last year on the break in tune, which came out to around 450/400.

1st run on final tune

tach sensor broke so no torque: 2nd run

3rd run panned out at 590awhp, but we didnt save the graph. More to come including a racegas tune for some time attack this summer.

Lots of nice and shiny parts there. Quite a change from the old rusty stuff I am used to looking at.

You and me both. Only new car Ive ever or probably will every own.

What is the base vehicle? All these newer cars look alike to me anymore except for some of the retro style things like mustang and challenger. lol I am just getting too old, or individuality is getting lost to ever increasing need for aerodynamics, or I am just so out of touch with modern styling I don't get all the nuances.

I am assuming while engine and suspension are highly modified it is built starting from something not an entire custom rally car from chassis up.

The engine reminds me a bit of the 2.4L in my daughter's 97 Nissan Altima.

I had a 83 Nissan pickup, my first new vehicle. I thought it really cool and many called it a rice burner.

I know exactly what you mean, styling has kinda all gone the same way and everything looks alike these days. Its a 2010 Misubishi Evolution X GSR. Its got some nifty stuff out of the box, Recaro buckets, Brembo brakes, hydraulic controlled rear and center diff, active yaw control ect... Neat car, and at 600hp its absolutely terrifying.

Wer`e getting invaded by the JAPS again!

LOL does that happen alot?

It's not you. I regularly mistake Hyundais for Fusions, Kias for Bentlies, Hondas for Edges, everything really is starting to all look alike. I do attribute it to the need for better aerodynamics for fuel economy.

I was kinda close. I was gonna guess 11 or 12 Dart.

i mean....

fuggin wow!!!:icon_thumby::icon_thumby::icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

The evo is derived from the mitsubishi lancer. I've seen all wheel drive turbo'd versions around here but they are few and far between and I'm sure nowhere near that kind of power. The garden variety lancer is quite common.

I thought it was an Audi A4 myself

Great build. Evos definitely have my respect; I've seen them in action plenty of times. Solid powerplant, and well-engineered. I want one, myself. Keep us updated, man.

Thanks man!

My friend had a 500hp evo. He crashed into a wall.
