Welding troubles? can anyone help?

Well did you set the other guy that posted this straight? Or is he gonna burn his (or his parents) house down tonight? :shok:

This is like that post about the guy that tried to port the intake of his turbo motor by pouring sand into it. You cant believe what they are saying but it might just have been done by some one stupid enough.

i'm not gonna lie i put a 3/32 7018 in my tig torch (in place of my 3/32 tungston) and it worked i call my new process.....Stigg welding :icon_hornsup:

There is just no possible way that the original poster was serious either, Some of the things he was talking about aren't possible, at least not probable.

If we knew the location of the original poster, we could just look for the smoke of the garage/house fire.

well , bit fo an update.

when i hooked the alternator up to the tig gun, it just zapped me, i looked up a few simmelar designs up on the net and found that i need somthing in between, so i figured that a deep cycle battery would work since i didnt have any 6 cycle 120 volt capacitors kickin around. turns out that i didnt have any battery clamps either..... so i broke out the handy dands sautering iron and sautered the wires to the terminals. worked pretty good. but the kicks keep on commin, i ran out of argon to mix with the oxy acetlyne, damn... now i know that shield gas has to be an inerd gas, nerds like to cook, cooking can be done with propane, so whammy, hook the propane up! giggety giggety were on the way. NO the stupid alt brushes are on the way out so its not crankin enough amps out for the deep cycle battery to supply the motor for the wire feed spool enough juice to push the flux through the middle of the wire on the end of the tig gun... good thing i have a 30AMP solar panel from canadian tire. got the solar panel in there on the battery for a bit of a boost but as it turns out having the solar panel too close to the ground, gravity pushed the energy the wrong way and the panel light up like a flashlight... no problem, i put the panel on the roof and its working fine now. sheesh this thing is really gettin to me, i should have just bought a mig pack 15..

pics to come....grrrrr *twich* *cough*

whats really funny is that people dont read the whole thread, and then you get idiots that start reacting.... still. how bout pouring the gasses on! that is priceless!
