weird cb problem

ive got a cobra 19 ultra that i just bought. put it in my truck and it all worked the first day. then i went out of town for a week get back yesterday and only two channels work. the other ones have no sound. squelch is all the way down. today its been channel 20 and 21 that are working yesterday it changed each time i turned it on. can anybody help?

did you buy this radio new? if so return it sounds like something on the Bord inside broke free or pooped out?

i bought it from a guy off craigslist who collects and repairs them so it seemed ok. i guess just bad luck. ill have to buy a new one. thanks for your input

I hope you didnt pay more than 30 bux for it. THey are only 34 new. If he had it on craigslist, he most likely tried to tweak and peak it. This is not entirely poss with the 19 because it doesnt push near enough power, it needs to have at least another 4 watts. I would looke for a good Cobra classic or Uniden radio on the interwebz.
