:icon_confused: I'm thinking of coating the lower half of my truck in bedliner coating and wondering what kind of weight it would add? I went from a 3/4 ton chevy to this Ranger, and since it died the day I started driving it I havent had it on any trails yet. I was never able to take my K2500 through the Jeeper trails, just too wide, but I know they are tight so I was thinkin a litle body armour might be a good idea.

I'm curious as to why weight is the question..

If you're doing the "roll-it-yourself" stuff (Herculiner or similar), just look at the weight on the can. If you use the whole can, you've added that much weight.

Minus the evaporating portion while it cures. I've done a roll on bedliner to my Ranger and I would guess the weight of the can is less than 25 lbs (I think I did the whole 6' bed with one).

Yeah, I doubt that the "added" weight would be noticeable. Probably bring that much extra weight back in the form of dirt and/or mud!

No kidding.
