Webasto - Blue Heat

A guy at works sister in Germany told him about a gasoline powered engine/cab heater that runs off the gas in your tank. This enables you to pre-heat your vehicle anywhere with less fuel than starting your engine up to do it.

Anybody have any knowledge or experience with these or similar devices?

If you don't mind a chimney (a joke of course), get a little boat cabin wood heater. I'm going to put one of these in my bus.

yeah, i have one as a bunk heater that is diesel fired, $1800 installed, I leave it on the lowest setting and it still heats my sleeper to just over 100 degrees. I usually have to open vents. it will run for 20 hours on a gallon of fuel.
