waterlocked engine help!!!!

That reminds me, I never did post the pics of that bent up pipe and back pressure valve. They aren't "super bent" but for what they are, it's pretty bad.

I will never forget the day I pulled the heads off of a 5.8 EFI engine in an F250
that had what I'd describe as a "light knock" and found a rod with a wrist pin through it in one cylinder and not the slightest trace of the piston from that bore until I dropped the pan off the engine...

As for "taking the pan off" of a 4.0 in the chassis? Not possible.

I cant find my pic of all of the chunks of metal that were in the pan, but part of the piston exploded.
The bent rod was from another hydro lock, they were about a year apart

once he asked if he could do that i assumed not, but i was gonna leave the question to be answered by someone with better input. when i first got my 88 yota the first 20 feet down the road i drove it it blew out the oil pan gasket, i was just dumb enough to try and pull the pan all the way out, and it barely came out with 180* turns prying and it took about a half hour.
