First of all apologies as I'm sure this has been answered before..

I will be replacing the radiator and water pump on a new to me 2001 Ranger 3.0 v6. I plan on replacing both radiator hoses, the thermostat, drive belt and the fan clutch. I was curious what else I should replace while I'm in there. Also will 3 gallons of coolant be enough to fill it back up? The truck has 90,000 miles on it. Thanks

Check the drive belt tensioner

I should add...

Are you changing the water pump and fan clutch because they're bad?

Or doing it for maintenance?

If it's fir maintenance... I wouldn't. Those factory parts are likely better quality then any aftermarket part you can buy.

The radiator is leaking and figured I would change the water pump while I had it out. I can get a motorcraft water pump and fan clutch on rockauto. Are they not good quality these days?

Motorcraft parts are typically the better parts out there.

It's still a buyer beware world with auto parts.
