wash/wax

if your looking for cheap microfibers that work good costco sells like 24 of em for 20 or so bucks. and i want to try the plexus but its too expensive for me. and dont use the armorall glass wipes at all, they suck.

I usually wash my truck about five times a year, mostly in the spring/summer cause of the bloody road salt.

Typical car wash soap(zipwax) and no buff or wax. (IT'S A FRIGGEN TRUCK, TRUCKS DON'T GET WAXED):icon_thumby:

I get it at a local Honda m/c shop, and it's a whole lot cheaper than i've seen it other places. Like 8 bucks for the big can. A can goes a long ways too. It doesn't take much at all to do the job.

Bah. Vehicles are expensive, and expensive to repair, cosmetically and mechanically. I can't help but take care of my stuff. I never saw much use in spinning my truck to squeal the tires or running the guts out of it 24/7 either. I guess i'm odd. :icon_twisted:

i always wash and take care of my 06 chevy daily driver but i beat the thing(tires are crap but almost bald at 30k. what? they spn too easy). if it cant take the abuse from me driving its not supposed to be sold on the market in america. the goodyear st tires are actually decent for ht tires when im in the mud at work.next up is a rancho lift and 33 goodyear mtr. but i have used all my cleaners and waxes on this truck at one time or another.

Turtle wash/wax or RainX wash/wax soaps. A coat of Turtle wax once every year. I might try that new RainX syntheic wax this next year. I usually wash my truck once a month. But when salt hits the roads in the winter. I might be washing it every week.

As for interior, Armor All works well. I use RainX glass wipes with anti-fog for the windows. And whatever carpet cleaner that can remove red clay stains.

i think this thread needs a poll
