was a nice day...so took a few posers

whats that bar caled that you have your plate straped to? (awsome by the way)
and how did you go about mounting your tire in the box like that? im shure i could rig something up but if its a bolt in thing that would save time
and i totaly a agree with you that there is just something about a 3rd gen thats apealing
around here in by everyone either has a brand new 350 jacked to the sky or a beat up 80s ranger or yoda

its a headache rack...made it up pretty quick, my plate is just strapped to it until i figure out what to do with it once i finish up the rear bumper

the tire in the bed took a little work...had to den in the rear of the wheel well in the bed to make the 31 fit

but that last thing i wana do is flip my truck like some poeple on trs...

I resent that:icon_rofl:

I got a 4'x6' sheet of 3/16 steel in my garage, I need to get my bumper built...wish I had my damn welder so I can start on it...I'm half tempted to use my sawzall just to cut the material (yeah, need a torch/plasma cutter too):bawling:I need to pick up some jigsaw blades, guess I'll have to use that for now...Jon, whats up with your rear bumper, gonna get some more done on that thing or what:D

about to go out to the garage right now.....

Right now I'm stuck and the parts are pissing me off:pissedoff: I got the spindle nut today (about the only good part of the day!), and its about 1.5 times the thickness of the original nut, so it shouldn't split this time...I went to get the bearings for my pinion and they had to be ordered:annoyed: The store only had 1 cup, but didn't have the cone to match it, didn't have the outer cone or cup to match the inner, so now I have a wasted trip to town ( about a 30 min drive for me one way) and have to wait another day til I get my truck up and running again:annoyed: Now I know why I don't shop at Advance Auto...AutoZone had to order the inners, but had the outers (cup and cone), Advance said they had all 4 in stock, I go there, and to my surprise they didn't...They ordered them, but I think I will find them elsewhere, and they were the cheap federal mogul, they didn't have Timken, which is what I wanted...
SVT

Yeah, calling in some favors at a local fastenal company, they also sell bearings, and my dad knows the owner personally, so I'm gonna have him get the bearings at cost hopefully...
