Got a bit more done tonight, first night since the update I"ve had to work on it...
Got the harnessremoved from the donor and pushed out the shop,pulling the bronc in tomorrow to pull the 2.8...pics then..

Ok, I'm slowly beginning to suck again...No pics..
But I have since pulled the engine/harness out of the BII and went to the local "J" yard and scored a EFI tank and rails out of what looked like a 90'..also browsed around for some parts to picak and found atleast 6 "91-94" exploders with complete drivelines...atleast 4 were 4X4..I gotta head back..

Hoping to have the fuel system ready tomorrow in the truck and after that hunt up a clutch..

Ok, not a bad day but wish it could have been more productive...
Got my EFI tank in and old lines out, New lines laid into place but trying to figure out the Fuel filter placement. Prop. valve is right where the Fuel filter sets on later models and I chose to pull my lines from a 89' and newer

Among other things, had a pair of shocks setting around I threw on to replace the blown out rears and I removed the swaybars/endlinks,inner fenders..

And finally I pressure washed the engine compartment...Gotta order a new clutch and I'll set the 4.0 in...

Here's the greaseball 2.8....

Some of the engine compartment..No "purple cleaner" yet, I wanted to just hit it with pressure and get the big chunks off first..gonna soap it and finish it tomorrow..

Man I hope I can get this turd running before next week...

Thats the one thing about the 2.8 liters, they leak oil from aroung the valve covers and just truns it into a mess. Other then that I love the 2.8 liters, just put one in my truck.

Appreciate the positive reinforcement..keep it coming, This is the tough part for me..

I'm thinking of buying a parts truck for A EFI dash harness..was considering swapping to the explorer dash later on but this may ramp up the plans..

I see that the bronco had air conditioning. You going to put one back on it? I've though about putting an exploder dash in mine but not sure yet.

Are you using the original 2.8 tranny with the 4.0? If so I would keep my foot out of the throttle!!

Yeah. A/C eventually..got all the parts from this one and the donor truck to make it happen..Just have other things planned before that.. like the axles..Yeah I'm aware of how fragile the 4 speed is..I want this truck running soon though so the project doesn't stall again..If it stalls it may get sold..I'm getting ready to try and hunt my original donor truck down again..Hopefully I can find it and swap in the M5OD/1354 Like I want..anyhow We'll see.

where you at? theres an m50d 4x4 right near me. in a white 4x4 that runs. like perfect donor guy wants 550 for the whole truck. im sketchy about that one considering it cant be started, it has no gas tank, sooo...

Sure it can be, have somebody under the hood with a squirt bottle with gas in it shooting it into the intake while somebody trys to drive it.....don't ask high school years in mechanic class was crazy, thats how I found my dads current truck and got his old one.
