Want to add bed rack/roof rack system

If you just type in diy bed racks in the search on youtube. You will see some pretty genius ideas a person could do with a little welding experience. hahaha and a good flap disk in an angle grinder haha. We made one for my buddy's old Toyota for rough d 100 bucks in material and an afternoon

I’ve built some custom apparatuses using products from faztek. Its extruded aluminum t-slot; perhaps you could construct something that’s ever evolving to your needs on the fly?

I would make it 3 bars on each side and removeable as well as 3 removeable bars across the bed, for the flip tent. I wouldn't want the bar at the bed opening, but it looks like its there for structural integrity when carrying on top.

Otherwise a good base/start.

He’s still working on it. I’ll try to keep an eye on it, but FB sucks for projects like this.

Non essential businesses are closed for lock down until 20 May. I'm going to start with getting a roll/retractable bed cover once I can get purchased and sell my bed cap. This cover will have to be compatible with a potential rack system though. This has to be an in-person inspection, who knows their stuff. before I buy anything. Of course, after seeing all available options.
