want more power from my 2.8

i want some more power from my motor ive done pretty much every simple thing to do new plugs and wires fuel filter air filter change oil new muffler and got it exiting before the rear axle dont kno what else to do is there anything or do i just have to deal with it?

Simple things dont add performace. You can put a cam in it, duraspark it, bigger carb, or do what I did, put a TBI system on it (really had on choice or it wouldnt run).

Rangers aren't power vehicles. You want the performance of a full size truck then get one of those. If you want a performance car get one of those. The ranger is an economical truck.

you could do sum diff gears. you wouldnt really have more power but it would seem like it haha, but it dosnt sound like you wana get to deep in er right now
