Yeah, he was sayin that he saw the explorer and noticed something behind the grill, and it took him a while to realize what it was. (It was intercooler or soemthing I would assume).
He made it sound like he saw you at Budget Truck Wrecking, where he works.
i bougth the truck with a blown headgasket and after going up a long hill it overheated and caused the "death rattle". I pulled the heads and the bottom end was perfetly intact while the heads and valves were cracked and the hg was blkown out everywhere. After replacing it with a junkyard motor for 300$I built the turbo kit for it. So far its doing ok but it is showing signs of the hg starting to go or cracked heads again. Howeveri do have the funds aside for hgs and remanufactured heads to prevent the cracking problem. I have beat on the truck and pushed the 4.0 to 15psi untuned so far. i just threw what i had lying around together which totalled under 150$ the only fuel system mod is 303injectors
now im redoing the hotside for my cougar the twins i had on the car were too big and they spooled super late. i just dumped in a 01 Pi motor out of a mustang GT into the cougar
