valance removal

could someone provide me with step by step instructions for removing the valance from my ranger? its an 08 sport with foglights. thanks

If I'm not mistaken most of the cover just pops into the bumper.

On my '04 Edge it has (maybe) 5mm bolts holding the fiberglass to the metal bumper. Looks like a half dozen or so.

you will need to disconnect the fog lights if equipped. I have the Haynes manual and can scan the pages in if you'd like...

Any EASY method for this ? From the Haynes it says I need to remove the whole front bumper. And I can't seem to reach some of the bolts with my ratchet.

Do like everybody else does. Hit something and then back up, No tools required at least that is what the prevoius owner of my truck did. I heard river banks work the best for that nice clean tear away.

I prefer picking the wrong line out wheeling... didn't make it up the ledge, slipped back and landed square on a stump with my bumper... blew the valence and both the fogs right off.
