You're right, this WAS covered many times. A simple search would have saved you the trouble before ordering the 89500'sSummit is really easy to deal with for returns and exchanges, I'd send the 89500's back and have them replaced with the 88400's. The pic Bobbywalter posted was of the Patriot headers similar to the 88400's. The 88400's tuck in closer to the motor on the passenger side.
If I didn't have about half an inch of shim between the mount and the crossmember, and then the mount and the block (1" total) I do think my 88400's would be into my frame rail.
I just really like the tri-y's... if I could have, I would have.
