Where can I get the correct pulleys. I have a 351w in a 91 ranger...Thanks guys

I'm also very interested in the answer to this question.

If anyone also has information on what alternator and power steering brackets they used in either a v-belt or serpentine setup it would be immensely helpful to me.

Well I can't speak for the original poster but my 351w is out of a 90 econoline van. The accessory configuration is so crazy I don't think there is any way it will fit in a ranger.

I'm really just looking for someone to tell me what brackets they used for an alternator and power steering pump that definitely work under the hood of a ranger. If the 302 brackets work for either alt/steering then thats fine too I just need a picture or car to go look for in a JY.

If v-belt is the way to go I'll pick up a new water pump and go to town.

Most of the 302 accessory stuff will also fit a 351W if you use the factory adapter bracket on the heads. I have one, but can't post pics of this piece. I've run across three different ones, two in aluminum, one was iron. All are triangular shaped with two holes bolted to the head and two more threaded holes in raised bosses. All effectively move the upper head hole up or down to fit the application.

v-belts or serpentine?

I have seen people use a chevy alternator with a adjustable turnbuckle in place of a tensioner on the serpentine setup. With this setup which water pump would you use, standard or reverse rotation?

If all you're going to run is the alternator, then a std rotation pump is the easiest route to go. A reverse pump would require you to run an idler pulley in the setup.

Serpentine belt system requires a reverse rotation water pump, V-belt does not.

March makes nice, but expensive setups. I used used a the serpentine one on my 351. Puts accessories in a good position. I did remake the alt bracket to lower the alt so I could run the radiator hose over the alt

Running the single serp belt setup from a Vic myself, standard rotation with the aluminum alt bracket.Easy set up.
