V-6 SHO into a 94 Ranger?

Still looking into powerplant options. The motor from the SHO (super high output) Ford Taurus back in the mid-90's was a hot little number that has the same auto-trans. pattern as the RWD trans. used in my ranger. Just flip in around! Good looking motor with lots of potential. Anyone out there ever done this deal? Motor mounts, exhaust clearance? Any comments ? Old Dude would appreciate it! Thanks
