USB cable differences in charging speeds?

The port is going bad or the battery itself is going bad. I had a port replaced on a Samsung Galaxy s3 a few years back for 50 bucks. So...is the tablet worth 50 bucks?

You can get the port itself off ebay for about 3 bocks plus 8 more to ship it and spend a few quality minutes watching youtube on how to take it apart without breaking anything...

Got the new cable. Charges from 25% to 100% in about 3 hours now while the tablet is still on. Considering the size of the battery I'm more than happy with that speed.
