isnt runing lucas the same as going to a heavier oil? We had a lot of discussions ragarding different additives and the general concensus was that they dont do what that claim to do. BUT they can some times extend the life of an already dying engine. I ran it in my old 5.0 when I droped #8 cylinder. The piston came apart and oil pressure droped drasticaly, not to mention the noise. Im thinking the lucas helped me limp it around for the 3 weeks befor i could replace the engine. Point is, it wont hurt to try. Drop in a ltr of lucas and see what happens.
