Upgrading 87 Supercab ranger

I am looking to upgrade the speakers in my truck.
Not looking for any fancy. Just something that sounds clean and I can hear it truck down the freeway.

Right know I have a 3 year old JVC kd-hdr20 deck. The door speakers are beat up and have holes, back ones old.
I found some door covers in way better shape. I don't really want to cut them, but I will if I have too.
I have the dash covers so I can install dash speakers.

I like a balance of the sound, I listen too talk radio, classical and soft rock.
Anyone have some recomendations on a setup and speakers to use?

alpine sound great, but are pricey

sony at walmart are fairly priced and sound pretty good.

The sonys at walmart I did not think sounds so great.
Ill keep looking and see what works
