Some will say it F's chit up and some say it won't. I'd say make em both the same so you don't have to worry about anything. Unless you don't plan on using 4x4...
As long as 4wd is never engaged it's not an issue...when ya do lock it up on hard pack, you can kiss your sissy lil chain driven aluminum cased tcase good bye, lol.
I had 5.13s in the rear and 3.55s up front for awhile. I never used 4x4 though. However if I had gotten stuck that winter I think I would have been able to get out in 4x4...shouldn't hurt anything if it's on a slippery surface for just a bit.
