Good afternoon! I frequent the forum but this is the first time posting in it! I've been rebuilding a '94 Ranger XLT 4x4 4.0 and when putting it all back together, I stumbled across this little guy at the back of the harness. It's near the firewall at the back of the block behind the intake manifold. There's connections for the oxygen sensors (white connections depicted x2) as well as the main connection there. I've crawled all over the engine bay, under the truck, traced every wire I could find, and for the life of me, I can't find this things mate. It's a manual transmission so I'm wondering if it might be a hold over from an automatic? Like if ford just reused the same harness in 94 for manual and automatic? Does anyone happen to know what this is for?

Anything on the transmission for backup lights or neutral start switch?
