I've had them for a couple years now and I have to say that they've held up to quite a bit of highway/city, heavy loads, and mild offroading very well. Not the highest quality, but I will definately be buying them again. They're a great value:cost ratio imo.
i hated the ones my dad had on the chevy 1500...
i know i'm way different than the other guy, but i would NOT recommend them to anyone... they had no traction on anything slighty wet. they were a 6 ply... and terrible in my opinion.
now- they were bought used, almost new but used.. so who knows.
I had them on an old fullsize chebby truck once. I was living in Tenn. at the time and did really well in 7+ inches of snow. Not to awfull bad on mud either. I think they have changed the tread pattern though, not sure. Done really good for me.
Thanks everyone. I`m gonna have to replace the factory goodyear tires soon.
I wouldn`t have another set of goodyears if they gave `em to me. Like riding a set of bricks down the road.
ive got a set of them on my alloy rims that i run during spring/summer/fall. they ride and handle well, they dont like mud and they seem to have issues with getting grip on wet pavement. never ran them in the snow. they do have a high treadwear rating and load range rating.
