those of you that have managed to stuff a amp under your seats, can you please post what amp you used? and were there any modifications in order to get it to fit? i have a 2000 reg cab ranger. i currently have a 4 channel amp running my whole system. its located on the back wall right next to my 8" sub. i would like to cut out the back panels and do a pair of 10's with a sub amp mounted in between. that would leave me with no room to mount another amp to power my front components. let me know what you HAVE done, i dont need recomendations.

quick question, does anyone know if the buckets from 98-00 have more under seat clearance than the 60-40 split bench of the same year?

kinda getto but cam out really nice. i took a large for sale sign, from home depot. the thin plastic ones. and cut out the shape of my amp and it had tabs to match up wiht the seat bolts and painted it black, some velco and your good to go wiht no extra holes in your truck and it allowed it to bend wiht the curves of the floor. :icon_thumby:

im pretty sure the arc audio ks 125.2 and the blaupunkt tha 275 would work. i just want to see if switching to buckets will get me some more clearance.

i got a 99 and i have an insignia 1000W 2ch under the drivers seat and have had no problems at all.
