I have my transmission out right now.
I used a long-handled Harbor Freight wrench.
The way I got the top 2 bolt out with the wrench was to Jack my transmission up until it was touching the floor of my truck.
I then laid over top the motor and was able to get to the very top two bolts a lot easily with the wrench.
I used the wrench for all eight bolts.
