I got it this weekend for $3.03 a gallon.

I get a discount on gas, $0.10 per every $50 I spend at the grocery store for up to 30 gallons. I got up to $0.80 off a gallon and filled the F150 up with 30 gallons when gas went back down to $3.83 a gallon.

Saved me $24.00

It wasn't all at once. It doesn't take long though for it to add up. Heck, you can't get much from the grocery store without hitting $50.00 anymore.

Hmm I guess I'm lucky. I just paid 3.79.

I know it sucks but it is what it is, I'm just glad I don't have to wait in line for gas.

One of the local grocers (big chain) worked out a deal with Canadian Tire to give discounts on store items (or gas) but I've never tallied the points...I thought it was NOT a good idea because in order to do that they simply jack up prices over all and you don't really end up saving anything...

Some gas stations also offer "rewards" like buy $1,000 worth of gas (swipe your points card) and get $10 free...I think they should just scrap the whole program and reduce prices...it must cost them a small fortune just to maintain the database and they end up raising prices of fuel to cover these programs...
