Um, got a mess, need help.... kinda urgent....

Or...how about a crane...or a helicopter with a skyhook...or dynomite!

What about sand channels or sand ladders? Something like those if you could get them under and drive it out while being pulled still maybe?

We got it out guys...thanks for your suggestions.

As oddly as it sounds the skid steer couldnt do it, it wasnt a very big one and just didnt have the weight.

Oddly enough we used a Forklift (well, not really a forklift, kinda looks like a mini front end loader with forks) that the dude who owns the local junkyard (that we all know real well) had. We drove it back there and wrapped a chain around the forks on the lift, picked up the front end of the 9N, unhooked the wagon from behind it, and slowly (but surely) drug it up out of the creek.

The wagon, we ended up doing kind of the same thing except it was quite a bit more difficult then the tractor was.

Moral of the story, make sure you chock your tires :)

Dustin

Thanks for the update...and congrats on the accomplishment...I didn't sleep at all last night worrying about it...

front end loader bigger, it can knock more shit over.

glad you got it out..... i was going to suggest wheel chocks for the next time.

I really didnt think the skid steer was gonna do anything for ya. They are not known for good pullin power.

It wasnt a front end loader, it was a forklift, it just split in the middle like a front end loader, it was only a few inches wider then the 9N.

No one stated the obvious... couldn't get back there with anything because of the trees, a chainsaw generally takes care of those last time I checked. Then you have more firewood after you get the thingy out of the ditch.
