ultimate bling ranger

trucks are supposed to have high ground clearance, mud on the fenders and in the interior, junk and tools in the bed, loud mufflers, be ready to haul anything, etc......
that aint no truck

Hey we got low riders on this forum too, just because that is not your preference doesnt mean you should knock it. That person obviously put alot of work and money into his ride and I think it's pretty badass street truck if I do say so myself. In fact it would be awesome to have him as a member. get yer haterade outta here!

Engine/Drivetrain Ford's venerable 5.0L motor and C-4 automatic transmission was robbed from a '90 Mustang and transplanted into Chad's Ranger. Headman headers made the installation easier, and a 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust system was fabricated afterward. The bling-bling comes from chrome Milodon valve covers and a flamed billet air cleaner. A Griffin aluminum radiator looks right at home in front of the badass small-block and does an excellent job of cooling the powerful beast.
I mean read up on his truck a little bit:

Different people like different things in their trucks. Although TRS was born for off-roaders, it's grown over the years and there's room here for just about everybody.

At least that truck shows a lot of work, although it might not be along our own personal likes or tastes. I prefer stock/restored myself, but still I like seeing what others do to these trucks. Lifted, lowered, loved or neglected, I just like Rangers.

It does have a nice V8 installation, although some of the wiring looks shaky (look at the passenger tire in the underhood shot). I've seen a lot worse "customization", and if you love Rangers, the only truly ugly one is a wrecked Ranger.

Im not hating. Just stating my opinion. Yeah lowered trucks aren't and never will be my preference. I would agree that they got some excellent working skills but frankly the only thing on the truck that I like is the motor. I would never throw all that money into a project that in the end I had to baby over every little bump in the road just to get to the mall so I could pop the hood. ;brownbag;

I got two issues with this topic,

1. Trucks are designed to carry CARGO.

2. WTF look at that engine bay, he didn't do anything to his exhaust manifolds?

Yeah I noticed that too, easy fix tho. I was just thinkin we should give repect where it's do. A couple of the cool street trucks on here I can think of is BlackWidow, rat_ranger, slammedxonair, plus we have illusive designs as a vendor.

I love it, there's a shit ton of work that went into that truck, what's with all the Hate?
