what would cause my driveshaft to start comming loose from the transmission? i recently did an axle swap ( like just finished yesterday and ill have pics up soon). but i also noticed that it would come loose from the diff on the stock axle every now and then. i have a few ideas on how this could happen. but i would like to hear yalls before i start jumping to conclusions.

when i did the axle swap, i made shure my angles were PERFECT. so i know i got those correct

its on an 87 Bii with an exploder 8.8 rearend. if that helps any

thanks,

Not to sound rude or anything but are you making sure they are tight enough? I only had my driveshaft come loose once (bolts backed out a couple turns at most) and I'm pretty sure I just didn't put enough muscle into it. I always make sure they are tight now whenever I take it out and haven't had a problem since. Could also be some worn threads on the bolts have you inspected them?

yeah, i checked them when i put it on. and i used the air tools on it. the threads looked good, but it wont hurt to check again.

just checked them, they looked good as new. so i just tightened them down. threw some thread lock on them, so well see how it holds up.

thanks guys
