Anyone up for some wheeling around Turkey Day? I was thinking the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving (Nov 28 or Nov 29).
:D

Son of a bitch. Guy gets his truck built and wants to wheel now, imagine that. I just sold my front pig last week. I won't be able to wheel till spring :bawling:

Well, I didn't build it to sit on the trailer (which is what it's been doing since I parked it last time...).

I'd really like to get back into the frequent wheeling like we used to, life has really changed a lot since those days though. I'm sure I could convince the wife-to-be that we 'need' to get the truck out that frequently....

I'll call Wirsch and Clark. Neal most likely won't be interested, I don't think he wheels anymore....:thefinger:

Yeah, now that everyone's getting their rigs finished I'd like to wheel more often as well. Maybe arrange 2 or 3 'formal' trips per year. I'm still collecting part for the D44, should have the axle built shortly after the first of the year. I look to swap it in over spring break. This winter is gonna suck without 4wd.

I'm out for the 28th and the 29th. My brother-in-law is getting married in the Quad Cities.

I should be able to be done with harvest in a couple of days, and fieldwork maybe by the middle of next week, so I might have a chance to be completely done before the end of the month and have time to do some wrenching. It won't take me long to swap in that other t-case, especially since this will be its 3rd transfer case.

I'm good to go. I need to lay a couple more beads and some paint on the anti-wrap bar then install my front locked diff i bought.

I might be going to chicago the first weekend of break (this upcoming weekend) then i can get the rig finished monday and tuesday. Should be ready by the 28-29 weekend.

I'm thinking just heading out to the Farm on Saturday morning.... If nothing else just clean up the place, do a little wheeling, clearing some trails and maybe have a bonfire....

I guess I'd better call Clark to check with him though.

I'll head out there too for a little. I dont think im going to bring the samurai though. The antiwrap bar is done, but the rear brakes are so messed up and i cant seem to get them working at all.
Then i also need to install the front diff and do the front brakes.

I could prolly get it done before sat, but i still have alot of work to do on it and it sucks working on a muddy rig.

I'll come out with a fourwheeler or something. Or maybe i'll wheel the stock grand cherokee?

Anyone head out?
